Disc Room Slices onto Switch on October 22nd
Developers Jan Willem Nijman and Kitty Calis (Minit), Terri Vellmann, and Doseone (SLUDGE LIFE), alongside publisher Devolver Digital, have announced that Disc Room, an ultra-stylish expedition into the depths of an alien deathtrap, will be tearing its way onto the Nintendo Switch on October 22nd.
To celebrate this announcement, the team of developers have bravely offered their voices to science in the interest of preparing players for an extraterrestrial experience that will challenge even the most hardcore arcade masters.
What is Disc Room?
Are you ready to get sliced in half? The year is 2089 and a giant disc has appeared in orbit of Jupiter. Step into the oversized space suit of a brave scientist and explore this sprawling intergalactic slaughterhouse.
And remember: what kills you only makes you stronger.
You control a brace scientist making his way through the depths of this alien facility, and each room you enter is unique and solved in such a way that only your brilliant mind can get you out of there and into the next room. You have to do all of this while avoiding the massive saw blades that will kill you in an instant.
The situation gets complicated pretty quickly as you make your way down, but over time and after many deaths, you will unlock new abilities that will help you to survive a little longer to solve some of the most troubling puzzles in Disc Room.
Leaderboards will be available, which means this looks to be a solid online competitive game for those looking for bragging rights.
