Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin Tokyo Game Show Footage

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, a beautiful-looking Japanese-style RPG, was featured at Tokyo Game Show’s digital presentation this year, and IGN was the one who ended up posted the gameplay footage from the event for all of us to see.

Here we get a good look at how the game plays, as well as interaction between the player and NPCs. The nice thing about the demo footage is that there is no commentary, so the sounds pop out even more, although it would have been nice to hear from the developers.

An impressive thing about the game is that it is only developed by two people, and the amount of detail and care going into it is absolutely insane. It is going to be amazing to see what Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin ends up being. It has so much potential to be a top-tier series.

In the demo, we see a lot of farming and food prep, which is great insight into the old Japanese way of life. There is also a decent amount of combat to give you an idea of what that will look like in game. Make sure to keep an eye out for more news and details regarding this game.
