Cake Bash Gets Demo on Switch eShop Before Release
Cake Bash, a party game by Coatsink, has launched a demo on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The colorful and silly arcade fighter is expected to make a full launch later this year, but ahead of its launch, players can get a taste of Cake Bash in the form of a playable demo.
The game looks to be a lot of fun and offers many modes, and it seems like the game can be enjoyed locally in couch co-op, solo with bots, or online with randoms. It looks like here you can have your cake and eat it, too!
What is Cake Bash?
Fight to be the tastiest cake in Cake Bash! A frantic four player party game where adorable drawn-to-life cakes beat the crumbs out of each other. Pick your favorite cake and battle in a variety of lifelike arenas with unique goals – cover yourself in sweeties or hurl fruit into a pie, there’s plenty for everyone!
To cool down, try an assortment of minigame treats – roast perfect marshmallows, pipe the finest frosting, or be the last flan standing in Fork Knife. Guide your cakes through the bakery as they dress to impress the customer in Get Tasty! Buy delicious toppings in a series of games to be the chosen one…
You could also just play your favorite mode again and again, it’s up to you! Compete on the same screen, find challengers online or battle well-baked bots. It’s time to get out of the oven and into the fray!
If that description is not enough to sell you on the game, you can watch a demo gameplay video above from ContraNetwork on YouTube. Check out the video to get a better feel for how the game looks and plays on the Nintendo Switch.
Thank you for stopping by Nintendo Link for all of your indie news and demo announcements! What do you think about this tasty game? Do you think you have what it takes to beat the best cake?
