Firework, Action Adventure from Fantastico Studio, Coming to Switch
From indie publisher Fantastico Studio and legendary indie developer Ivan Zanotti, Firework has been announced for the Nintendo Switch and will launch on September 11th. The action adventure game has the look and feel of oldschool Mega Man titles, and it looks to be a welcomed indie game on our favorite hybrid console.
Firework is a game that pays great homage to classic titles like Mega Man X and newer indie titles like Cave Story, so it presents a classic action platformer challenge alongside sophisticated aerial movement and precise dodging.
You play as Yan the Defective One through his fight against the Fire Troops, a group of evil baddies looking to burn the Facility down to the ground, and it is up to you to stop them while unveiling the secrets of the Facility. You will fight tough bosses that will reward you with new powerups that will assist you in your journey.
Leaving so many flames behind will also result is the Facility burning, and if this should happen, things will end up worse than expected. To put it simply, game mechanics and scenarios will change. It will not necessarily lead to a “Game Over”, but it will determine the results of some events.
Get ready for an experience and a modern tale written by David de la Rosa and developed by Ivan Zanottie. The game is finally arriving on the Nintendo Switch in a revisited version enriched by a new and brilliant co-op mode, perfect to play with friends locally via two Joy-Cons.
