Little Nightmares 2 Shambles Towards a February Release
Little Nightmares 2 was first announced at Gamescom last year with the developer promising a release date slated for this year. It seems that with the whole pandemic going on the team is going to need a little more prep time as a new trailer has come out with gameplay, revealing a February 11th release date for next year.
The game shows off the new protagonist Mono, and it appears that they will be helped by the first game’s protagonist, Six, in navigating the world around the horrors that exist within it. There are hints that Six is trying to overcome her fate that befell her during the original game, and she can somehow find an answer by helping Mono reach his goal, the mysterious transmission tower twisting their own world.
The original game was a fantastic and horrifying puzzle game that got a lot of praise for its environments and monsters and it looks like the sequel is shaping up to be even better, even though we will be seeing a little later than planned.
While I personally think it’s fantastic for developers to give themselves more time to give games polish, what do you guys think? Are those of you that played the original looking forward to the sequel? Are you still excited despite the delay? Let us know down below! You can check out the original announcement trailer here!
